The night grows darker,
more mature
and the moon soothes away
the pain of the morning birth.

Softly do the ocean waters 
caress the sand, 
Smoothing the edges of
hard rocks,

The sun now rises 
and the land awakens 
to a new day,
Filled with nature's songs

And the orchestra of life

Inviting you to dance
to the rhythm of your graduation song.

Your lungs breathe one more day

Should you choose not to smile,
