Literature Text

I heard that you found
a new love,
I heard that you are
getting married

I heard that she is
bright as sunshine
and that you are
happy together.

Why are you calling me?
Why are you sending roses?
You were my summer night,
but now winter imposes,

With flakes as cold
as the pain,
That I suffered for you
Yesterday!

I hope that she gives you love.
I hope that she makes you happy.

I wish you forget about us
our time truly has pass.

November has grown
into April
and birds are starting to sing
songs of grace and new beginnings.

Join them, and with them
sing an anthem of harmony
and love.

I will sing the good-bye version
of their melodies one last time
I'll sing to their tunes
to wish you a happy life.

Go and be happy, with the blessing
and the best wishes,
of the one, that once loved you
more than life itself.

Don't waste your beautiful
smiles in past memories of me
Grasp the fabric of life
and sew a blanket of love,

to cover her body so that she is never cold,
And the only trembles she feels
are those provoke by your hands.

Don't ever let her light run out,
fuel her passion with new caresses every day.
Make her feel like, when you encountered
love for the first time, was with her.

Thank you for the roses
for the memories of a past life
but for now on,
they better embellish your bride:)

A great and self-less farewell to love, Virna.  (Shep4life, I've just noticed, beat me to comment the verse which stood out for me too.) Well done!
