Pen and paper and a smile to remember,
centuries of misplaced love and a search that
does not end.

a thousand writings
a million questions...
Painting a picture of peace
in the exterior of a war tank,

on the mountains and
in the rivers, looking for a celestial touch.
not angels nor demons,
not lions nor lamb,

just the souls that search every where
to find themselves,
who guards over you, who guards over me...
Who guards over all of us on earth?

The search continues
until we remember, realize or acknowledge
that our brother, is ours to watch over
and to love, for in the end we are our brother's keeper

as we are one and the same
just one, the human race,
not angels nor demons,
just broken souls that search to be united.
To be reborn in the presence of unconditional love.
