Read your favorite song to me

I called for you in my agony
but you could not hear me
I wished with all my might
that you would sing me
your favorite song,

I listened for the longest time
but your voice never came,
and  I cried alone your absence.

I called you again,
but it was so loud around you
the light was in your face
from the ever changing pics.

And my voice was not even an echo,
and I wondered as I cried,
why don't you see me?
I am here,
I could almost touch your half 
buttoned blue shirt,

I was so tempted to kiss you
but you probably would have
not felt my lips as you
could not hear my voice,
call your name in my agony.

I just wanted to hear you
read your favorite song to me...
