While you were asleep...!

Many things have changed,
The darkness is on the surface 
But the light is brighter.
And magic is real.

The sun is eternal and the moon
Will be ours once more,

Don't fear because you don't understand,
Come, let me wipe your tears, 
let your worries be lifted from you
as do the wind to the leaves from the trees.

All is well... I know you have seen nothing but darkness for much too long, 
And the light is so painful to your eyes unaccustomed to truth,
You feel like a wounded animal, 

You have let others make choices for you,
while you sleep in the cage that they built you
and peacefully ate their lies and drunk the fear served for you on a silver cup...

I understand you felt safe there,
but is time to reclaim your inner wisdom, 
to ignite your vision, to leave the fears behind...

And no... The moon is not broken, just your eyes 
Seeing through fear and not through love...

But I know you... I have known you for so long!!!

And I dance and my light is brighter now that you are awake, to see what happened while you were asleep.
